What is the production process of aluminum heat sink housing? how they are made?



The aluminum heat sink housing is an important part of the radiator, and its production process is completed through multiple processes. The production of aluminum radiator housings starts with raw material procurement. Generally speaking, manufacturers purchase aluminum alloy materials because aluminum alloys have good heat dissipation and mechanical properties and are suitable for manufacturing radiator casings. These raw materials are usually supplied in the form of aluminum sheets.

The first process is plate cutting. To cut sheets of aluminum radiator housing, here are a few common methods you can choose from. Use hand tools such as saws, scissors, or hand cutters. This method is suitable for thinner aluminum panels, but requires some skill and patience. Tools such as electric saws, electric scissors or electric cutters can cut aluminum panels more quickly and are suitable for some larger or thicker panels. CNC cutting machines are able to precisely cut aluminum plates through pre-programming, making them suitable for situations where high precision and high-volume production are required. Laser cutting technology can provide very high precision and efficiency and is suitable for cutting complex shapes, but equipment costs and operating costs are usually high.

The second process is the forming process. Start by planning the design of the enclosure to determine the required size, shape and features to meet the functional and appearance requirements of the radiator. Finally comes quality inspection and packaging. The finished radiator shell needs to undergo strict quality inspection to ensure that it meets the design requirements and specifications. Once it passes inspection, the enclosure will be packaged for shipping and storage.
